The 1981 O-Pee-Chee Baseball checklist has 374 cards. That’s almost have the size of Topps’ 726 cards. Understandably, the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos get a good amount of love despite the abbreviated overall lineup.
Although 1981 Topps doesn’t have a lot of big-name Rookie Cards, 1981 OPC Baseball has even fewer. Harold Baines and Kirk Gibson are the major solo RCs. As part of the smaller checklist, only the two Canadian teams have three-player Future Stars cards. This adds another key Rookie Card with the Expos’ Tim Raines.
